Today, 25 May, Resolution No. 331 of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of 24 May 2016 "On Amendments to Certain Regulations of the National Bank of Ukraine" came into force.
From now on, clients of authorised banks carrying out currency transactions may omit the extract from the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organisations of Ukraine (ЄДРПОУ) and the copy of the appraiser's certificate issued by the State Property Fund. They also no longer have to provide bilingual translations of SWIFT messages and documents.
The National Bank has simplified currency transactions under loan agreements between residents and international financial institutions.
The regulator has also allowed foreign investors who wish to repatriate an investment not to submit to the authorised bank a statement (certificate) from an authorised bank confirming the actual inflow of foreign currency into Ukraine, or documents confirming that the investment was made through reinvestment.
