No need to file financial statements with the state registrar

Published 24 May 2016. Some rules have changed since; ask us for the current position.

In 2016, legal entities do not need to submit financial statements to the state registrar by 1 June (the Balance Sheet and the Statement of Financial Results).

This is because the Unified State Register, kept in electronic form, contains information on legal entities (other than public authorities and local self-government bodies as legal entities) and their financial statements on business activity (other than those of budget institutions), comprising the Balance Sheet and the Statement of Financial Results.

The State Statistics Service of Ukraine (Держстат) passes this information to the Unified State Register within a month of receiving it (Article 13(5) of Law No. 755).

We recommend entrusting the transformation of your financial statements to IFRS to our firm. Find out why on the service page.
